A dinghy, kayak or paddle board is a great way to enjoy our local harbor and coastline. The CSC offers slips and racks to safely and conveniently store your boat or board during the summer.
Dock Space
Availability and Fee
You must be a 2025 Dock Space holder to register for a dock space for 2026. If you were not a dock space holder in 2025 you may register for the wait list.
Slip availability varies from year to year depending upon renewal trends. On average, there are just a few spaces that become available. To rent a dock space, members must pay the following:
Annual dock space fee ($850 in 2025)
Membership fee ($450 in 2025)
Harbor fee (varies on boat):
Boats with engines/non-mooring holders: - $108 in 2025
Boats with engines/mooring holder in Cohasset- $75 in 2025
Boats with no engine - No additional harbor fee
*Most dock space holders fall into the $108 Harbor fee category. As a service to members who have a boat with an engine, CSC collects the $108 or $75 harbor fee at the time of your online registration and issues payment to the Town of Cohasset on your behalf.
Assignment and Maintenance
Existing slip holders are able to renew their slips from year to year by registering and paying for membership, dock space and harbor fee by April 30. No late dock space registration/payment will be accepted. The space will be reassigned to the next member listed as #1 on the waiting list.
Slip numbers and positions are assigned by the Dock Slip Coordinator. The outside spaces are more user-friendly than are the inner spaces. As a consequence, as outer slips become available, existing slip-holders can be shifted or re-assigned to these more favorable locations.
CSC is the sole and final authority in providing a slip, determining space assignments, dock space availability, and by applying or holding a dock space, members agree that all CSC decisions are final. We reserve the right to change the policy at any time and without prior notice.
Wait List Procedure
There is a members’ wait list for those who continue to support the club year after year and who wish to have a dinghy at the club docks. This publicly-posted will be maintained by the club on this website. It establishes a ranking of slip applicants from which available slips are assigned. Those not obtaining a slip at the beginning of the new season will be kept on the waiting list in the current order as long as their memberships are maintained without lapse. You must be a member to hold a spot on the waiting list each year. As dock slips become available the name in the top position on the waiting list will be notified.
Dinghy Requirements and Restrictions
Maximum 12` length, 5` 6“ beam. No aluminum. Oversize boats will be removed. Engines must be kept covered if in the upright position. If found upright, the uncovered engine will be put in the down position by club staff .
Note to all 2025 dock space holders
Your dock space will be renewed for 2026 only when YOU REGISTER on this website and your membership, dock space and Harbor fees are paid in full by April 30, 2026. Our dock space coordinator will send your slip assignment and sticker via mail.
For those interested in a dock space, you must be a registered member and pay the annual membership fee to remain on the wait list. Members can be added to the waitlist from the MyRec registration system, which may be accessed by logging in to your account.
Kayak and Paddle Board Racks
You can rent a space on the racks for the June-September season for your kayak or paddle board. Please complete the registration and payment for both membership and kayak berth. A sticker will be mailed to you to adhere to your kayak/board. We recommend you lock your kayak/board to the rack. The fee for 2025 was $225.
