Open Sail

The CSC’s fleet of boats is available for members to take out on the water on their own or with friends or family. Instructors and staff are on hand to help rig the boat before heading out on the water and to assist in unrigging once you’re done. The trained staff is also ready to assist you with a Boston Whaler should the wind or tide take unexpected turns. All members must complete the helmsman test prior to taking a boat out. Life jacket and closed toe shoes required.

Our Marshall Sandpiper will also be available for Free Sailing beginning Saturday, July 25. In addition to passing our helmsman’s test, potential sailors must complete a short on-the-water evaluation. Depending on demand, formal sign-ups may be required. We thank you for your patience during this roll out!

If anyone would like a lesson in this new boat or to sail with one of our instructors, please reach out to our Program Director Maryellen Holler at directoratcsc@gmail.com to make arrangements.
